LINCOLN YOUTH LITTLE LEAGUE

THE LEAGUE DEPENDS ON VOLUNTEERS TO MAKE THINGS HAPPEN!

LYB’s operations are entirely run by parents, guardians, and friends of baseball who volunteer their time and talent. We have roles that suit any schedule and allow you to work independently, collaborate with a group of volunteers, or partner with a Board member.

We also understand that baseball families are busy. If you are unable to volunteer this season, LYB offers a buyout during the registration process.

Background checks may be required, depending on a volunteer’s level of involvement managing LYB resources, accounts, and relationships and interacting with youth. Head Coach and Assistance Coaches must complete background checks and abuse awareness training.

Contact LYB’s Volunteer Coordinator for questions about the roles described below by emailing [email protected]. Questions about coaching responsibilities can be sent to [email protected]

We currently need an Umpire-in-Chief to join our Board. We are also in need of volunteers across several different areas of interest. During the registration process, you can sign up for any of the positions listed below or email us.
