LINCOLN YOUTH LITTLE LEAGUE

MINORS AAA BALL

Ages 9-10: Typically 3rd and 4th Grade

LYB Little League offers a AAA division for players who have played in the Minors-AA division or who demonstrate comparable skill. This division is designed for players with a league age of 9 and 10 who are are ready to participate in a faster paced, team-oriented game, demonstrate the team concept at bat and in the field, and play at the AAA division without concern for safety.

All players who register must be evaluated prior to rosters being formed via a draft. Not all players who register for the AAA division are guaranteed to be assigned to a AAA team but will be offered a position on a Minors-AA team based on the outcome of the evaluations.

For the Spring 2026 season, evaluations will be held Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8 between 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm (specific times TBD) at the Lincoln High School field. Players MUST attend only one of these sessions. If you cannot attend either date, contact [email protected] right away. Read the LYB FAQs for more information about the evaluations.

The field used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 46 feet.
