Thank you, Hillsboro Hops!

Lincoln Youth Baseball Little League is excited to announce that it has been selected as a recipient of a 2025 Youth Sports Grant from the Hillsboro Hops. The generous $2,000 grant will be used to purchase new equipment for our players, helping to enhance their experience and continue to grow the game of baseball in our community.

The Hillsboro Hops’ Youth Sports Grant program is aimed at supporting local youth sports organizations and fostering a love of the game by providing financial assistance for things like equipment, field renovations, and uniforms. This year, the program received a record number of applications, and we are proud to be among the chosen recipients.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Hillsboro Hops for their support,” said Brian Kinion, president of the Lincoln Youth Baseball Little League board of directors. “This grant will directly impact the quality of play for our young athletes and provide them with the tools they need to succeed. The partnership with the Hops allows us to continue our mission of building a strong baseball community here in Portland.”

As part of the grant award, Lincoln Youth Baseball Little League will be participating in several community-focused initiatives, including participation in the Hops’ annual banquet and attending the Hops’ Youth Sports Weekend in April. We are also excited to be part of the Hops’ Grant Check Presentation on April 23 at a Hillsboro Hops game, where the team will celebrate our shared commitment to growing the game of baseball.

We look forward to using these funds to provide our athletes with the best possible experience and to further strengthen the connection between local youth baseball and the Hillsboro Hops. The ongoing support from the Hops is invaluable to our league, and we are thrilled to be part of such a vibrant baseball community.
